We are really happy with this bar. It contains 20% roasted New Zealand hazelnuts; stoneground with our single-estate cacao, resulting in a soft, buttery texture. The sweet orange and sprinkle of Marlborough sea salt lift this bar to a whole new level of deliciousness. We just can’t get enough of it.
The cacao inside this chocolate is the Trinitario varietal. A slightly hotter roast profile was used to create a more stable base for the hazelnut flavour.
We hand sort, roast, crack, winnow, and stone grind for up to for 80 hours before ageing our chocolate. We then temper, mold and hand-wrap each bar in our little factory in Wellington, New Zealand.
